Good morning

Just this beautiful pink flower to say good morning to you.
I will be very busy all day long in big preparations for tomorow. I will try to come back later but I'm not sure if I can.
Tomorow is a big day for us.
Stay tuned.

I was invited by Alexandra of Happy Hearts at Home to do the Meme "I've Got The Urge To... "

So here it goes.

I got the urge to:

1 . Don't work outside my home - even if the money I earn is quite a lot - and To Be a full time Wife, Mother and Homemaker.

2. Go and take Communion now and to be with my God, my Creator and my Redemer, the One who is always with me and The Reason why I live - but for that I need to not work out everyday ; I need to be that stay at home woman. Because I'm not, I only can go to Mass and take Communion on Sundays.

To England

3. Go to England. I have always the urge to go to England. I feel so well there. If I was a rich woman I'd go there every month. Well, never mind.

4. Go to Rome. I went there once and I was crazy about it. Everything: Italy and most of all, the Vatican. Ah!... I feel at home there.

And now little things:

Drying clothes outside

5.
Just stay at home.
Doing laundry.
Tidy up my house.
Open the windows .
Take care of the plants.
Just breathe and give thanks.

I invite everybody who wants to do this Meme to do it.

Just tell me you are doing it.

Rain and sun

For a lot of days this was the view from my window: rain and more rain.
Well, I can't complaint because lately we had some sun which gave us such a display of amazing clouds, as you can see here.

But today I was awekened by a splendorous sun. As I came down from my room, I saw the pelargonium that stays in my stairs windowsill bathed with sun.
I couldn't resist taking a picture.
Look at that.

Today I will wash a lot of laundry to take advantage of this glourious day.

A wintery day

Today we are having a wintery day.
Not that I complaint because I like the rain and the cold. The problem is that after such a heat, it's quite strange to have a strong change.
But never mind. Better the rain the the heat.
Can you see the rain?

Here in the day

and now in the evening.

Look to the street lamps.

Let's see how the weather is tomorow.

Spring, sometimes nice, sometimes hot

After some rain

we had two days of horrid heat. Looks like today it will be better. Tomorow, they say will be cloudy and cooler and on monday it will rain.
I do hope so.
Today I will catch up on my laundry because it's saturday and I will stay home. In the begining of the week, to give me courage to go out of my house and work outside, some cool weather and rain.
Thanks to God.

My pelargoniums began to flower, saying Spring is in the air. I don't mind Spring, what I can't stand is the heat but, after this heat wave, it will be good again for some time.

Colours in my life - red

I realized that, when I was doing that series of Colours of my life, I didn't post about red. So, it is today.

Red velvet

This is a poinsetia my husband gave me at Christmas time. The problem is I'm not very lucky with with them so he keeps giving me one every Christmas time.

Red pelargonium

This pelarnonium belongs to my mother. It's quite old. Used to belong to my grandmother who was a realy good gardener. I wish I could say the same about myself.

This one is mine. A diferent kind of red.

Bursting in red

And now a lot of red roses my husband gave me several times. Some are darker then the others because belong to different times.

Again

My husband gave me

Roses from my husband

Now some anthuriums given to me by the same man. Not all of them are red.

The rainbow

My red glasses. Guess who gave me.

My glasses

My collection of Camilo Castelo Branco books - a 18 century portugese writer.

And now some of the lovely roses my mother gave me at my birthday last October.

Roses from my mother

Tha's all. Not many red things in my life.

Divine Mercy Sunday

I was reading a post at Posy and then went to Amanda - Posy posted a link to her - and as I read both posts I answered to the first one:

Today is not raining - or snowing - and we haven't wind - and we are a windy town! It's sunny everywhere and I'll seat and anjoy the pleasure of being at home.

Yes, it's true. Being at home it's a previlege I can't afford everyday. I mean, not all day long. But today I can because it's sunday, Divine Mercy Sunday. We went to Mass and now we are at home.

My husband is in S. Tomé doing some work for an hotel that is being built there. He called me earlier, when he was in the Mass (!!!) so I could hear the songs there and how the voices were so nice. Sounded like angels. He hardly spoke, just asked in a very low voice: can you hear it? I said yes. Then he hang off. It was very nice.

Good sunday for everyone.
