Eating chocolate and reading

Easter Tide goes on and I am delighted eating my chocolates.

I deprived myself in Lent so now I eat all I want.

It's not that we can't eat them in Lent, it's just that was one of my sacrifices, so now I enjoy this legitimate pleasure and, at the same time, I read and read, in every bit of time I have.

I'm very inclined to books of old times, not novels about those times, books that were written then. When I'm reading them I'm there and I am one of those characters. It's good also to inspire me now, for real life.

I read novels written in the 19th century and in the first decades of the 20th. Not some talking about harsh life, far from God and with low morals, for that I just need to open the television or even to look to many people. I prefer novels with characters who have the same mentality as I have. Morals are not just for some era, God expect from us a clean life whatever time we live.

So I read and feel good. And I eat chocolates as I do since my childhood. And pre teen years, when I discovered those nice books by the hand of my grandmother.  I never stopped reading - or eating chocolate. 😉

Lent is very important but Easter Time is soo good.

Thanks be to God.

Easter Adverts

There is something in the old times, when life, in spite of problems that people have them in every era, that is so delightful to me, so inspiring and that gives me peace and the will to live.

Through past decades adverts we can jump in those nice times. They are so nice.
I leave you here with some.

And chocolates, we could not miss them.

In praise of chocolate

I read in so many blogs the praise of coffee and how important it is in the life of most people. Now I have to  tell you: I can't stand it!! I don't like the taste and even the smell I don't like at all. But if it's a chocolate with some taste of coffee, it's ok.

I've liking chocolate since I remember to exist and I like it in every form: hot chocolate, or cold in the Summer, bars of chocolate and in every shape and form.

I like it in cakes and over them, puddings, biscuits...You name it.

I've always received chocolates and books as presents, being it my birthday, Christmas and Easter. I have the memory of being a chilld, seated, reading a book and eating chocolate, mainly at Easter time, breaking the chocolate eggs and rabbits and everything, and eating it while reading.

Those were the times! Just a child and reading all the time - which, to say the truth, never ended, either the reading or the chocolate eating which have been a constant all my life.

I found this here

Everybody can see how much I'm craving Chocolate now...but I must wait till Easter.
Just some weeks more.
