Summer roses

Sunny days

Last June we went to the north as it is my favourite part of the country. It's so beautiful, everything.
There are two gardens that I like most to go and we never fail to visit them when we are on holidays.
One of them is the Garden of the Biscaínhos and the other is the Garden of Santa Barbara.

Secret

The Trio

Here you have some of the beautiful roses I found there and, as I want to share it in the Pink Saturday party, I'll post today only pink roses - I leave to another day some other pictures of those gardens.

Softness

In the shadow

So, as you can see, it's such a pleasure to go there as we can always find so much beauty. Oh, I really must show you more in the next days.
Stay tunned.

Isn't she a beauty?!

My mother sometimes gives me a rose plant because she knows I'm crazy for roses. The problem is, many times, they come so beautiful but sometime later they begin to look not so nice and eventually, they die.
So this one is stil in all its splendour and I couldn't help showing you.
Just look at that!

Assumption of Our Lady

In this day of August, 15, we celebrate the feastivity of the Assumption of Our Lady to Heaven.
It's such an important feast that today we don't work.
We went already to Mass, as it should be.
So, for Our Lady, all these roses.

Flaunt Your Red Friday

Two dozen red roses

I just found at Walnuthaven Cottage that Poofing the Pillows does Flaunt your Red Friday and I decided to join.
Red is quite a happy colour so I'll show you some reds in my life. I'm afraid the pictures are not new but even so I will post them.
So, here they go.

Some roses my husband gave me in different occasions.

Roses from my husband

Anthuriums given by him too.

The rainbow

My red glasses given by whom? Him, as usual.

My glasses

Ah! These it was my mother that gave to me.

Roses from my mother

This pelargonium belongs to my mother. Such a vibrant red, isn't it?

Red pelargonium

I do like fuchias. These are so nice.

And to finish, for St. George.

Thinking on Valentines Day

Two dozen red roses

As you know, I'm posting from other's computors. So, wanting to join Friday Show and Tell at Kelli's, I went to look for some pictures at my flickr. There I found a lot of things my husband gave me through the years, not only at VD but even in normal days.
So, I choose some.

So beautiful

Remember a yellow rose I posted some time ago?
It was from a rose plant my mother gave me at Christmas.
She also gave me another, a dark pink one.
Look at that, I believe it's one of the most beautiful roses I ever saw.

Today's Flowers

Today and every monday, I will try to post a picture of a flower - or flowers - joining Today's Flowers.
My mother gave me a plant full of miniature roses and this beauty is one of them. This is the second time it flourishes.
