A trip to the garden center

Yesterday it was lovely at my little one's school. There was she, singing in the choir, very proud of her.

Today I was a bit in a strange mood, as my husband said - not related with yesterday, I was just tired and irritated. So my husband decided we would go to the garden center. Poinsetias, rosemary, evening primrose and lavender, it was our choosen plants.

And for dessert he made cheesecake.

Not bad, hum ?!

Flaunt Your Red Friday

I just found at Walnuthaven Cottage that Poofing the Pillows does Flaunt your Red Friday and I decided to join.
Red is quite a happy colour so I'll show you some reds in my life. I'm afraid the pictures are not new but even so I will post them.
So, here they go.

Ah! These it was my mother that gave to me.

This pelargonium belongs to my mother. Such a vibrant red, isn't it?

I do like fuchias. These are so nice.

Yellow Week II

Here we are again.
My husband gave me these flowers last year.

They look so nice by my kitchen window but then I had to put them near the computer because he said I should put it where I could see them often - yes, he was saying I go to the computer often.

Thinking on Valentines Day

As you know, I'm posting from other's computors. So, wanting to join Friday Show and Tell at Kelli's, I went to look for some pictures at my flickr. There I found a lot of things my husband gave me through the years, not only at VD but even in normal days.
So, I choose some.

My husband bought me these flowers from Madeira Island, a place where he goes often because he has some works there.

Two dozen red roses

As I told you several times, my husband travels a lot.

Well, yesterday night he come from one of his trips and brought me two dozens of red roses ! ! !

I immediately took some pictures and this morning I took a load of them again but today sometimes I couldn't capture the colour so well and it come a bit orange. They are such a deep dark red but the light makes them look not so dark in the pictures. I must try again.

Well, I think you will have rose pictures for a while because I can't stop taking pictures of these roses and I will post a lot of them.

Colours in my life - red

I realized that, when I was doing that series of Colours of my life, I didn't post about red. So, it is today.

This is a poinsetia my husband gave me at Christmas time. The problem is I'm not very lucky with with them so he keeps giving me one every Christmas time.

This pelarnonium belongs to my mother. It's quite old. Used to belong to my grandmother who was a realy good gardener. I wish I could say the same about myself.

This one is mine. A diferent kind of red.

And now a lot of red roses my husband gave me several times. Some are darker then the others because belong to different times.

Now some anthuriums given to me by the same man. Not all of them are red.

Colours in my life - Yellow

A bit of sun, that we are so much in need.
