Summer roses

Sunny days

Last June we went to the north as it is my favourite part of the country. It's so beautiful, everything.
There are two gardens that I like most to go and we never fail to visit them when we are on holidays.
One of them is the Garden of the Biscaínhos and the other is the Garden of Santa Barbara.

Secret

The Trio

Here you have some of the beautiful roses I found there and, as I want to share it in the Pink Saturday party, I'll post today only pink roses - I leave to another day some other pictures of those gardens.

Softness

In the shadow

So, as you can see, it's such a pleasure to go there as we can always find so much beauty. Oh, I really must show you more in the next days.
Stay tunned.

Assumption of Our Lady

In this day of August, 15, we celebrate the feastivity of the Assumption of Our Lady to Heaven.
It's such an important feast that today we don't work.
We went already to Mass, as it should be.
So, for Our Lady, all these roses.

Pink Saturday

I'm in impatient mode. Not that I'm impatient with something, it's just, as I'm crazy for impatiens and mine are blooming everywhere, I can't stop talking about them and showing it to everybody.

Now go to How Sweet the Sound, at Kimberly's, to Pink Saturday. She's hosting a party with a lot of "pink ladies".

Pink Saturday

I must say, at my house the most predominant colour is pink. As a house of five girls - me included - there's no way of lacking of pink.

This bowl here belongs to my baby, five years old already, but the mug is mine.

Pink Saturday

Pink flames

No, my bougainvillia is not in full bloom. She was pruned and it's sprouting now but only has tiny leaves. Its flowers are still a dream in my mind.
These ones were taken last summer.
Well, it will be like this again this year.
We just have to wait.

For Pink Saturday, go to Kimberly at How Sweet The Sound.

Until next saturday.

Pink Saturday

Kimberly at How Sweet The Sound hosts Pink Saturday.
After some problems with my computor, that are not completely solved, I'm joining again.

For me, pink things are usualy flowers.
So, the one in the top is that azalea that I posted before about it. It is still blooming in full force. I'm amazed how nice the plant still looks.

This one is from one of my african violets, the last I bought and the more pink one.

These plants I bought at the market some time ago and they are growing very nicely and nice they are with its pink leaves.

For now they are standing in my kitchen windowsill but I'm planing to put them outside. Let's see if they like it or not.

Until next saturday.

My husband bought me these flowers from Madeira Island, a place where he goes often because he has some works there.

It has been an absolute despair to post or to
comment because my computor is being as stupid as it can be.
We asked the man to come here but he doesn't boder.
So, I'm sorry if I don't answer to your kind comments as soon as I'd like to but I will.

Pink Saturday

Because the days have been so dark and grey, let's put some pink flowers for this Pink Saturday.

These flowers belong to an historic garden that we have here. It's beautiful on everyday of the year, rainy or not.

So, one of this days, me and my husband went there in th rain ( ! ) and took some pretty pictures.

Aren't they nice?

One of this days I must go there again in the sunshine to take more pictures - without the rain.
