Like an angel

Please, do listen at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

I never give any attention to those talent shows that are in USA and in England. Or anywhere. So it was with some doubt but also curiosity that I noticed some catholic blogs - very good ones - talking about one of these shows.
So, I went to investigate what is was all about.

I'm speacheless.

As she began to sing, it was as an angel was singing through her mouth. Tears began rolling down my face.
Praised be Our Good Lord, who gave us such woman and praised also for making everybody recognize the amazing talent this woman has.
She reached this age only singing at Mass! With that extraordinaire voice!
As you can see, she is a middle aged woman, a bit fat and not very pretty. But the more we read about her, the more we discover her talents as a woman of worth.
I'm sorry to all that have already saw her and listened her singing, but I must post her song here, for the ones that don't know her and as a tribute to her.

Her voice shows her true beauty.

I dreamed a dream
I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high,
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.
Then I was young and unafraid
When dreams were made and used,
And wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung,
No wine untasted.
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hopes apart
As they turn your dreams to shame.
And still I dream he'll come to me
And we will live our lives together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms
We cannot weather...
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seems
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed.

Never judge a book by it's cover. Can you just imagine if they had this Idol show years ago we could have been listening to her sweet voice for years now. She missed out and sadder the world missed out years of this amazing voice. I am first in line to buy the CD because she is a sweet light shining in our crazy mixed up world. I cry when I hear her sing and we keep listening to her sing a few times a day. What a blessing she is to our world! Now we need to get this gal kissed by a sweet guy too!

She is just plain extraordinary. I think God must have a very great plan for her.

I am so glad you like her too!

I can't wait for the cd, and I can honestly say I rarely buy music recordings.

One of the things I love the most about her is that her story reminds me of what my grandmother used to say, "Not your time, but God's time".

But, no matter if Susan Boyle wins the BGT competition, she's won!

I have never seen any shows this year of Amer. Idol. I just don't catch tv at all lately... But this song caught my eye in this post! I LOVE this song, and yet it is one of the saddest songs I've ever known. I do wish I saw Susan singing it. I wonder if I can find it on you tube. I'm going to check that now!
