I hope that every dad goes to church. 😄
I know that many people take the Sunday to program the week but I don't do that. Sunday I give to Our Lord and, after that, to the family.
We just rest, after Mass, and have a good lunch, we gather around and talk and watch films and series, we eat cakes and good deserts.
And on Monday I plan my week and, having rested on the Lord's Day, I feel full of confidence and hope. I want to do things and I make plans.
Have a good week full of good plans.

Your Sunday sounds lovely. I remember Sundays like that. My schedule has changed over the years, so sometimes I was off on Sundays, sometimes not. I remember my mother telling me what a good job I had - knowing full well it was a weekend position at the hospital. A way to provide for my family and avoid childcare costs during the week. But in a future conversation she would tell me that the Lord's Day is for rest. You can't have it both ways, I guess. People get sick and need care on Sundays at the hospital...Someday I hope to have Sundays for church and laying around the house. I used to love spending time reading the Sunday paper. And I would love some Sunday guests for coffee and sweets! (:
Yes, God first but there are special jobs, like hospitals and firemen, that people need to work on Sundays, that is different.
