Yellow Week I

I’m still computorless and depending on other people charity. However, I saw at Domesticalli an idea that she saw at the House on the hill road.
And because I can use my pictures from Flickr in whatever computor, I decided I will join.
So, yellow it is, as you can see in this sea of yellow flowers.
Looks like the sun as landed on earth.

Thinking on Valentines Day

Two dozen red roses

As you know, I'm posting from other's computors. So, wanting to join Friday Show and Tell at Kelli's, I went to look for some pictures at my flickr. There I found a lot of things my husband gave me through the years, not only at VD but even in normal days.
So, I choose some.

Centerpiece Party

My computor is still not well. Maybe it’s some virus. The problem is I’m waiting for the man to go there and fix it but he didn’t go yet.
So, I’m living on the charity of other people, computor speaking. Or I go to the one I have at work, that is not really mine, or to my girl’s ones. It’s not the same thing.
I have been posting some recicled pictures from my flickr or some i had posted some time ago.
It’s the case of this one.
It’s from last Easter.
Cindy at My Romantic Home is hosting a centerpiece party and I wanted so much to join. Then I remembered I had this picture of last Easter and there am I.
If you want to join go to her blog. She has a Mister Linky thing.
I hope to come back soon.

Corners of my home

Green

Today, I had the idea of posting some pictures on corners of my home for Show and Tell Friday.

Mirror on the wall

A mirror that my husband gave me some years ago is in the entrance hall.

Three pianists in my house

The piano always open because the girls keep playing.

Books everywhere.

And this little corner. It's not new, this picture, is from last spring, but never mind.We need a bit of colour in these dark days.

Pink Saturday

My husband bought me these flowers from Madeira Island, a place where he goes often because he has some works there.

For Pink Saturday at Beverly's.

It has been an absolute despair to post or to
comment because my computor is being as stupid as it can be.
We asked the man to come here but he doesn't boder.
So, I'm sorry if I don't answer to your kind comments as soon as I'd like to but I will.

Show and Tell Friday

Today I'll show you a hotpot my husband made.
The day before we had lamb so, with the leftovers, he put in a kind of stew, everything well cut, inside the pot and then put some sliced potatoes on top and seasoned it. Doesn't look already nice?
Put it in the oven to cook the potatoes and voilà.

And what about some oranges for desert?

They look so nice.

Another thing I want to show you is these lovely eggs. My husband bought them in a kind of farm shop we have here. They were so big and when he opened it here they came two yolks in one shell. I didn't see one of those for ages!

For Show and Tell Friday, at Kelli's.

A day without rain

Dreaming with a day without rain.
I took this picture some days ago when the rain stoped for a day or two. Now it's raining again and doesn't look it will stop soon.

Outdoor Wednesday

Sintra in the middle of the fog and some sun.
Yesterday was quite sunny with some clouds.
Today is raining again.
But with rain or without, it's always beautiful.

Show and Tell Friday

A corner of my kitchen

In this Friday Show and Tell I will show you a corner of my kitchen.
It’s one of the most used bit of the kitchen because my husband is always going there to put the kettle on.

When we married, we had a traditional one, not electric, that had a wistle when the water was boiling. Later, he bought me an electric one, a rather traditional looking one. Then, the years went by and it was in urgent need of being replaced and he bought this one.

My new kettle

Another thing in the corner is the two piece to put the wooden spoon in – and other things – and the china spoon to rest the wooden one that we are using when we are cooking.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the two teapots, inseparable companions of the kettle.

For Kelli’s Show and Tell Friday.
