Older women had a desire to make their homes beautiful. Rich or poor, hey would try to have a nice printed apron, or an embroidered one, nice tea towels, etc. How funny that minimalism took hold in an era when we finally could afford those things they longed for!..Thanks for sharing, and God bless.
